One of the players who went out in the fourth round of women's singles at the 2011 US Open was Shuai Peng. Peng, seeded 13th, lost in straight sets to 26th-seeded Flavia Pennetta. Peng is still looking for her first WTA singles title, but entered the tournament at a career-best No. 14 in WTA singles rankings.
